Just in time before Beanie Babies completely take over the collectible doll landscape, DreamWorks has announced plans to develop a movie based on those terrible troll dolls, continuing its tradition of making awful creatures 3-D. Animation's head of development promises will "build on the mythology of the Good Luck Trolls while delivering the sense of adventure, heart and comedy that DreamWorks Animation is known for," which I assume means giving the trolls various celebrity voices and an affinity for pop culture references.
