I also heard something about the E channel is making her color her hair again to make it darker. They claim she doesn't look enough like her sisters with lighter brown hair. How stupid is that? Isn't her mom the producer of their show? And isn't the show a 'reality show'? How's that for reality, huh.

As if hickeys weren't gross enough

We all know hickies are embarrassing to receive if you’re over the age of 14, but turns out they can also be dangerous. A 44-year-old New Zealand woman was rushed to the emergency room for a hickey gone awry. The trouble all started when her lover sucked her neck one night while they were sitting on the couch watching television. Only his technique was a little too aggressive. He hoovered her so vigorously that he created a blood clot near a major artery in her neck. The clot then broke off and moved into her heart causing a minor stroke. She only knew she was having a stroke when she started experiencing paralysis on her left side. With treatment, the clot disappeared and the woman’s movement was restored.

I'm sorry, am I missing something? I am making a weird face in the picture but really??? I am very confused? Did I beat up her kid while in high school or something? She's my mom's age, maybe my mom stole her boyfriend back in the 80's and this yellow toothed, scraggly hair old hag is holding a grudge and taking it out on me by commenting on the picture, haaaaa.
Either way, thought I would share, I think it's kind of funny.

Strawberry Margarita Jello Shooters

Strawberry Prep:

1. Cut the bottoms of the strawberry flat to get them to stand upright. When you do so, make sure that you do not cut off so much that there is a hole at the bottom.
2. Use a huller or apple corer to empty out the strawberry.
3. Once the strawberries have been emptied, use a towel to pat the outside of the strawberries dry.
4. Check each strawberry and make sure there is not a hole in the bottom before you start filling.

Margarita Mix

• 1 box Strawberry Jell-O
• 4 ounces tequila, preferably reposado or blanco
• 2 ounce Cointreau
• Salt for garnish

Instructions

1. Boil one cup of hot water in a saucepan, then add in Jell-o powder and whisk until powder is completely dissolved, about 2 minutes. Set aside. Measure out 1/4 cup of cold water and set aside.
2. Combine tequila and Cointreau, in cocktail shaker filled with ice. Add liquour mixture to cold water and stir to combine. Then add cold liquour mixture to hot Jell-o mixture and stir to combine.
3. Pour final Jell-o mix into strawberries and chill overnight. Dip your finger in water or use a moistened brush to wet the edge of the strawberries, dip and rotate the strawberries in salt to rim. Garnish with cut lime triangles to finish.

Well, as women we most definitely have all been there... That place where you are so insanely jealous of some item our friend bought we seriously pause for a quick sec and debate lighting said friend on fire and stealing whatever it is that she has that we want (NEED).

Now, I promise you that these shoes are insanely amazing and that the online photos do them no justice. They are perfection.
I recently picked my friend up and she answered the door wearing these fancy glittery shoe heel things. I screamed, while frantically trying to pry the shoes from her feet. I know she is a size and half smaller then me but I NEEDED to try them on (and possibly run out of her house and never look back. I didn't need her friendship, I would have these shoes and they would love me forever). Back to reality, I love Kat, but for some strange reason I felt as if I hated her for buying such awesome shoes. What the hell is wrong with me, I kept thinking while I drove us to go watch our boyfriend's band play. Once we arrived at the show I immediately grabbed Beni like a crazed mother who's just found her lost child, and pointed at Kat's shoes. "LOOK" I said while pointing at Kat's feet and staring at my confused boyfriend giving him the 'If you really loved me, you would buy me these' eyes. He didn't get it, and to be quite honest I didn't get it either?
I couldn't help but obsess about the shoes the entire drive home that night, while racking my brain about why I felt like this. Is this envy, jealous, rage normal? Is it a pregnancy thing, some kind of baby in my belly side effect? Or have I simply lost my mind from being broke and on unemployment to long? What is going on??? Liz claims it's normal, but I'm not sure I'm convinced.

My "I can't live without items" from Trader Joe's

Since I am unemployed, I have been attempting to grocery shop on a 'budget' and I am officially over it. I don't do budget unless it's the sale rack at Macy's.
I've recently been going to QFC for the essentials, but damn it, there is a few things from Trader Joe's that I refuse to live without, and maybe a few new items I want to try.
Seriously though, I will never buy another brand of salsa as long as I live. I need to job, especially since this whole pregnancy thing makes you so hungry ALL DAY LONG!!!
***In case you haven't had the Gorditas from TJ's, get some now. They are easy and delicious. Bake em for a bit, then pile mexican rice, salsa, and sour cream up top and you will be hooked.
